José Pablo promised his 98 year old grandmother to shoot a film about her life. Abolishing the distance between fiction and non-fiction but also between present and past he makes his Mamacita, the unloved child of an incestuous relationship, meet her long ago past away grandfather to get an ardent expected excuse. Mamacita is a documentary film that uses imagination to rehabilitate a family history and to reconcile the protagonist with her past.
